Turn Old Thrift Shop Materials into Something New and Exciting!

  • I love my old collections and I am a thrift store junkie!

  • What to make? What to do with all this ‘hoarded’ material? Drawers….boxes…bins…

  • The AH-HA moment, I discovered junk journaling….

  • It is fun, my creative comes out, it’s addicting, there’s always something new and different

  • I’m watching my ‘hoard’ being de-stashed little by little

Join with me as we journey on this de-stashing, reusing, re-purposing adventure!

My Hopeful 2021 Series

I began 2021 with ‘hope’ that we could all have better days in 2021 from 2020! Thank goodness it is past us and hopefully we are full speed ahead with more positivity in our lives. My New Years Resolution was to find some positivity and inspiration in 2021. I began looking for inspirational quotes, statements, bible verses, just any way to create an outlook to make this a better time for us. Here are several of my journal pages that I have sold or that are still in my Etsy shop:

 A FEW FUN PROJECT PHOTOS!

My junk journals are only as good as the materials I have and what I add from thrift store finds. We like to travel in our family and one of my fun excursions at any location is to peruse local PTA Thrift Shops, Rescue Mission Shops, Good Will Stores, Church Bazaars, Second hand stores, used book stores and other warehouse hauls I can come across.

At each location the challenge is on, I look for any number of items that I can incorporate into what I already have. Additionally, I like to support Etsy stores who have neat digital kits that work with my ideas. There are wonderful digital kits out there! Below are random pictures of some varieties I have created either on junk journal covers or book pages. Enjoy looking!
